Jurlique Rose Love Balm

This is a multi-purpose product that definitely gets a seal of approval from The Beauty Boardroom. It’s a great all natural product that really does moisturise, soften and protect from dry skin. It can be used as lip balm, on elbows, hands or anywhere that you suffer from dry skin. I personally use this on my elbows quite often and it’s also a brilliant lip balm to use as a primer before applying lipstick.

It’s an all-natural product and doesn’t contain any nasties. It consists of olive oil, safflower seed oil and beeswax to keep skin supple and nourished. It also contains soybean oil and vitamin E to offer antioxidant protection and prevent dehydration. Finally it contains bisabolol, which is very soothing and reduces irritation and therefore redness. It smells divine – like fresh roses.

The texture of this is lovely. It’s quite thin but still really hydrates the lips and leaves a lovely glossy finish. The gloss disappears after a while but the lips are left so soft and supple, which is why this is the perfect lip primer before applying a matte lipstick.

If you’re looking for a good lip balm to use through the day that’s not too heavy but still nourishing, this is the one for you. It’s £10 a pop, but if you’re using those Space NK Ndulge points, then really it’s only a fiver…
