What's On My Face #3

This is the makeup look that I wore on a sunny London day. I wanted to go for a really healthy bronzed and natural make up look with a pop of a coral-red colour on the lips, which I think really stood out against the colour of this Zara blouse. For more outfit details check out this post here.

To prime my skin I used the Wild About Beauty Botanical Skin Prep Serum, which is one of those fabulous skincare-makeup hydrid products and for my base I used the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 7.5 for a really perfected finish. I used the Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach under my eyes to counteract dark circles and on any blemishes. I then lightly powdered down my t-zone with the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder in no. 40.

For the eyes I used the Chanel Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Black on the upper lash line and then applied lashings of my Benefit They’re Real Mascara. For eyeshadow I first primed my lids with the Soap & Glory It’s About Prime Eyeshadow Underbase to prevent creasing and then lightly applied a bronze Bourjois Eyeshadow in no. 93 Tabac Blond. I filled my brows in with some products from the new Eylure brow range. I used two different shades of the Eylure Brow Pencil in Black & Dark Brown to fill in my brows and used the Eylure Brow Tame & Define Wax to set them in place. I’m really enjoying using this wax instead of my usual brow gel at the moment because wax gives more of a glossy finish to the brows that bring them to life a bit more, as opposed to the matte look that brow gels tend to create. I used Soap & Glory Glow All Out as an under-brow highlight.

To contour my face I went for the Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Deep. I decided to skip blush and go for a bronzer on the cheeks so I used the Collection 2000 Mosaic Shimmering Glow Powder.

Finally for lips I went for one of my favourite products of the moment – the Lancome Lip Lover in no. 353 Rose Gracieuse. It’s a gorgeous coral-red colour that’s got a good amount of pigment for something so glossy. It differs to the Lancome Gloss In Love’s as those are sheerer whereas these are a lip gloss/lip stain hybrid. They feel so comfortable on the lips and are really long lasting.
