Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm Review

As soon as these launched, I was off to Boots for a swatch-athon! I initially put about five into my basket but my friend forbid me to buy so many, so I picked one. For now. I may have to go back for more…

I chose this gorgeous matte balm in the shade Sultry. It’s a brown-pink with hints of plum that’s actually quite close to my natural lip colour. I decided to go with this one as I knew I’d get the most use out of this shade as my everyday go-to lip product. It’s a breeze to apply and uber-pigmented. It’s also quite long-lasting although I do of course reapply this after meals etc. I don’t personally feel like it clings to or highlights any dry patches on my lips, although I wouldn’t wear this if I had extremely chapped lips and it’s always best to exfoliate the lips before going for the matte look. I also love that it’s a twist-up and there’s no need to sharpen it. For £7.99 this is a fantastic product and the shade range is lovely – there’s definitely something for everyone!
