Brand Alert: Aurelia Skincare

http://www.thebeautyboardroom.com/2014/01/aurelia-probiotic-skincare.html

For quite some time I'd seen reviews of Aurelia Skincare floating around on the blogosphere and mentioned in magazines - I thought it was time for me to give it a go. I tried samples of the Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser, Miracle Cleanser & Cell Repair Night Oil. Any reader of TBB will already know that I am all about the natural skincare and refuse to use skincare products containing any nasties; this is what initially drew me to Aurelia, since all of their skincare is free from parabens, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, silicones, sulphates, propylene glycol, phthalates, GMO, PEGs, TEA and DEA.

Miracle Cleanser - This has to be my favourite of all three products and probably the most raved about Aurelia product. I am beyond picky with cleansers and this one definitely cuts the mustard. It feels so luxurious on application and glides onto the skin like a dream. It really does leave the skin feeling so refreshed and very hydrated - I actually look forward to using this product! It contains a blend on eucalyptus, chamomile, rosemary and bergamot oils that smell divine. This really has become one of my absolute must-have creamy cleansers and I need the full size!

Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser - What I love about this moisturiser is that it's very thin in texture but still extremely nourishing. It contains a blend of baobab, hibiscus, kigelia africana, borage oil, vitamin E and rose which quite simply firm and hydrate whilst delivering a boost of omega 3, 6 & 9 and antioxidants to your skin. If you're looking for a fantastic natural moisturiser, you cannot go wrong with this one.

Cell Repair Night Oil - I'm really into my oils and I was eager to see how this compares to some of my holy grails (aka Balance Me Radiance Face Oil & NUDE ProGenius Oil). Firstly, I think this is the best smelling oil I've ever tried in my life. It smells really floral (and I'm not even much of a fan of floral-scented things but this is just beyond beautiful). The scent can be attributed to the fact that it contains a blend of neroli, lavender, rose and mandarin. It again contains baobab for that kick of omega 3, 6 & 9, and also antioxidant-rich hibiscus. I do find that when used overnight I wake up with quite a plumped and radiant complexion.

All in all, beautiful products, beautiful brand and definitely now in my top 10 natural skincare brands! I've also got my eye on their Revitalise & Glow Serum! You can find them online at Space NK here *N Dulge points*, Net A Porter here, and in store at Liberty as well as on their own website here.
