Liz Earle Does Concealer

I think it's safe to say that I am in love. I've been exploring and reviewing a whole range of Liz Earle products from skincare here, to cream blushes here and my final stop are their concealers. I've been having a bit of makeup playtime with these three products below - two of which are Light Reflecting Concealers and one of their Perfect Fix Concealers. They are all different colours so I've been using one to conceal, one to contour and one to highlight!

Let's start with the two items that have made their way into my make up essentials! I have been absolutely loving the Light Reflecting Concealers in the shades Medium and Medium-Dark. They are rather similar to the YSL Touche Eclat and work beautifully. They are such fantastic multi-use products; they instantly brighten dark circles and are great for highlighting any high points of the face such as the check bones, brow bones, down the bridge of the nose and on the cupid's bow of the lips. The shade Medium-Dark is a perfect match to my skin tone and I use it as an under-eye concealer. It really does reflect light beautifully and completely eliminates my dark circles in the most subtle and natural looking way. I've been using the shade Medium to highlight all of the high points of my face which again looks very natural but adds so much dimension to my natural bone structure.

I've been using the Perfect Fix Concealer in the shade Medium as a cream contour as it's darker than my skin tone and it works really well in this way. It's got a nice texture, blends well and I love the packaging. It's a great item for your handbag. On the downside, it hasn't got the best coverage and the scent is quite unpleasant (to me anyway). This product would be ideal for travel and great as an under eye concealer, but not for covering up blemishes as it is not pigmented enough.

The star product is without a doubt the incredible Light Reflecting Concealers. They work great as an under eye concealer and a highlighter - definitely a great YSL Touche Eclat dupe! The Perfect Fix Concealer is a great little handbag product to whip out for a bit of extra coverage during the day!

Top-Bottom: Perfect Fix Concealer in Medium, Light Reflecting Concealer in Medium-Dark, Light Reflecting Concealer in Medium

Happy reading,
