Liz Earle Skincare Review

Everyone knows of the infamous Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser from Liz Earle, but are you familiar with any of their other products? If you aren’t then you should really pop into Boots or Liz Earle’s London store in Chelsea and take a quick peep because there are some fantastic products in the range from skincare to makeup. I’ve been trialing products from the Super Skin range, specifically the Concentrate Serum and the Eye & Lip Treatment. Do they get the TBB seal of approval?

Superskin Eye & Lip Treatment - This is a good multi-use product. It contains pear seed extract, organic rosehip oil, cranberry seed oil, shea butter and vitamin E which all promise to prevent moisture loss improves skin elasticity and deliver a boost of antioxidants to your skin. I tap this serum around the eyes and any other areas prone to lines or wrinkles. I love the smoothing texture of this product and it works really well under make up.

Superskin Concentrate - This product contains such a gorgeous blend of oils including hazel nut, rosehip, argan, avocado, neroli and lavender oils. It also contains vitamin E and plumps, smoothes and rebalances the skin making for a great overnight treatment. The only thing that disappoints me about this product is that it contains some synthetic fragrance which can irritate the skin. The plant oils in this product are so fantastic and if it was also fragrance-free this would be a total winner.

I will definitely be checking out other products in the range. The Eye & Lip treatment gets a thumbs up from TBB, however the Concentrate does not because of the synthetic fragrances. If they can make it fragrance-free then it would be a truly fantastic product as the blend of oils are gorgeous!

Happy reading,

S.
