Bathtime Essentials

It's November - It's getting really nippy outside. After a day of traveling on the London Underground and trying to shelter myself from the icy winds and seething rain, all I want to do when I reach home is take a long, hot bath to soothe my soul (and body!). As always, I only like using natural products on my skin, so that excludes all bath products with harsh and drying chemicals, synthetic fragrances, parabens and other nasties - just natural, aromatherapeutic bath goodies. Skin is our largest organ and even though most people take amazing care of the skin on their face, everywhere else tends to be neglected. Here are the two products I could not be without.

Since I'm still a big baby at heart, I need something foaming! I start by pouring in a generous amount of Neal's Yard Remedies Aromatic Foaming Bath. It contains an aromatherapy blend of lavender, geranium and spanish marjoram which conditions the skin and also really helps to unwind. I like to then pour in a little tipple of the Neal's Yard Remedies Soothing Bath Oil for added skin conditioning. It contains a blend of lavender, geranium, bergamot and cypress in a base of almond oil, sunflower and soya oils that really help soften the skin. All together this concoction smells incredible and leaves the mind, body and soul feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I also light a candle or two depending on my mood, like the M&J London (post here) and NYR candles pictured in the background.

What are your bathtime essentials?

Happy reading,
