Brand Focus: Soap & Glory

When it comes to drugstore brands, Soap & Glory is undoubtedly my favourite. They have really good quality products, with super cute packaging at a reasonable price - What's not to love? Here are a few of their products that I've been loving:

Butter Yourself Body Cream - This is a quite a thick body butter so some people may not like using this one during the Summer, but personally I wouldn't mind using this all year round! It absorbs into the skin quickly and it contains shea butter, peppermint oil and fruitliquid fig. It also contains exfoliating alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) which really help make the skin even smoother by eliminating any dead skin and revealing a brighter layer of skin.

Glow All Out Face Powder - I've previously raved about this product here! This luminizing face powder is something that I already know I'll be repurchasing! It's finely milled, and gives a lovely radiance to the skin. I apply this under the brow and on the tops of my cheekbones over my Benefit High Beam highlighter (which I absolutely swear by) - this helps set the liquid highlighter and ensure that my highlight stays in place all day long. It's also a very beautiful colour that would work for a lot of different skin tones.

Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick - I have the shade Raplumzel, which is a gorgeous berry shade. I've spoken about it previously here and I really love this product for a number of reasons. It's creamy, hydrating, smells like vanilla/candy and is long-lasting. It's also very buildable, as you can just apply one layer for a sheer wash of colour, or add more layers for a more pigmented lip look. This is a wonderful product, and one of my handbag essentials!

It's About Prime Eyeshadow Underbase in Bright Light - I recently ran out of my Urban Decay Primer Potion, and so was in the market for an eyeshadow primer. I happened to stumble across this one so I thought I'd give it a go. I apply a fine layer of this onto my lids, pat it in with my ring finger and then apply eyeshadow over the top. It really does help to increase the lasting power of my eyeshadows and stop it creasing.  The white sheen of this shade is actually quite flattering and helps enhance the vibrancy of the shadows your place over it. Is this product more long-lasting than the UD Primer Potion? Probably not, but it's great for the price and good for every day use.

What's your favourite S&G product?

Happy reading,
