Spring Beauty Edit

These are the products i've been using as my everyday make up to achieve a quick radiant and dewy complexion perfect for springtime. I've opted for a lighter look, replacing foundation with tinted moisturizer, and using concealer in those areas that need a little lift. With an illuminating highlighter, pinky-peach blush and creamy neutral lips, you're good to go!

Chanel Correcteur Perfection Long–Lasting Concealer in 40 Beige - This is the perfect lightweight, gel-based concealer; it instantly brightens the skin, minimizes imperfections and dries to a velvety finish. It also has good staying power considering how light it feels on the skin. Having always previously used Bobbi Brown's corrector and creamy concealer, it's been lovely transitioning to a lighter concealer like this one, since it's less likely to crease or look too heavy on the skin.

Erborian Bb Creme Au Ginseng in Dore - A very silky and dewy tinted moisturizer, that gives the skin a gorgeous glow. It's very nourishing to the skin, which works for me since I have normal-dry skin. With an SPF of 25, you can't go wrong with this product.

No7 Beautiful Brows Pencil in Black - A quick few strokes of a brow pencil through the brows really does make all the difference in framing your face. I'm not too picky with brow pencils since to me they all seem the same, but I like this No7 pencil because it is double-ended with a spoolie brush on one side to make grooming on the go that much easier.

Benefit High Beam Complexion Highlighter - Instantly lifts and illuminates the face when applied to the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, under the brow bone and on the cupid's bow; for me, this product is a must-have. It is a satiny pink colour that would look beautiful on every skin type. However, if you'd prefer more of a golden highlight then try this one here, also from Benefit.

Nars Blush in Orgasm - Apply this peachy pink blush with golden shimmers onto the apple of the cheeks for a rosy natural-looking flush and further radiance.

Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Deep - I use this matte bronzer in the hollows of my cheeks, jawline and temples to contour the face and balance all of the illuminating products that we've already applied to the skin. This shade is much darker than my skin tone, therefore I only apply a small amount of product onto my brush before blending it in for a seamless subtle contour. If you don't usually contour, definitely do give it a try as it really helps to slim the face.

Écriture De Chanel Automatic Liquid Eyeliner - I create a very thin line on the outer third of the upper lash line that I wing out ever-so slightly. No eyeliner on the lower lash line, since this is more of a natural luminous look, and we want to open up the eyes.

Benefit They're Real Mascara - Long and flirty lashes are a must for Spring, so finish off the eyes with the most important step of applying a few coats of your favourite mascara. I usually only apply mascara to the upper lashes, although if I want more of a doll-eyed effect i'll also apply mascara to the lower lashes.

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Crème In Your Coffee - This creamy pink-brown lipstick leaves the lips looking plump and glossy. It's a beautiful neutral/close to lip colour lipstick for medium skin tones; for lighter skin tones, i'd try Creme Cup also from MAC.

The Extras:

MAC 168 Large Angled Contour Brush - An angled brush that I use to apply my blusher, as it fits perfectly into the apple of my cheeks.

BareMinerals Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush - This works well with the Chanel concealer as it is a very dense brush that perfectly pats the product into the skin.

BareMinerals Flawless Application Face Brush - I use this with bronzer to contour the face.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers - If you aren't currently using eyelash curlers as part of your routine, you must invest in some immediately! They really do make a huge difference and open up the eyes beautifully, as well as making your mascara go that little bit further.

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know how they've worked for you.

Happy reading!
